despite the many pretty things we witnessed today, i didn't manage to take pictures of them :( gahhhhhhhh. but it's okay. you guys can use your imagination.
met up with chris&family at 11-ish for xlb (: weeeeee. we were the first customers, and they screwed up. haha. the cook read the number of xlbs as 1 instead of 4 :( so we ended up spending almost 2hrs at Shanghai Dumpling. ROARRRRRR!
after that, we headed down to Suga to get some stuffs for their friends back home, followed by a trip down to Myer. haha. Myer was funnnnnnn (: there were three crazy asian kids sitting on a humongous brown sofa in front of a 50-inch plasma teevee, trying to figure out whether the images shown were in melbourne. oh wait. that was us (: haha. the sofa was really comfortable and i fell asleep there whilst chris was busy lying to carolyn about all the images shown on the teevee.
after running here there everywhere looking for his parents, we headed to melbourne central to do a bit of shopping and stopped by Max B's for a lil' afternoon snack (: mmmmmmmm. chocolate (: chris&i looked like some desperate chocoholics while his dad witnessed us scrapping off bits of chocolate from the plate. haha. we are soooooo bo seh (:
following that, we headed to Port Phillip Arcade to check out the christian bookshop which was unfortunately closed. so we decided to walk to Freshwater place to check out the apartments. and the apartments are WOWWWWWWW. it's freaking ginormous&pretty. like zomg. chris played hide&seek in the first apartment and scared the shit outta me :( ROARRRRR. oh oh! they actually even have like an executive floor thingy for people who buy houses above a certain level! it's like freaking cool la.
by the time we finished viewing the 5-6 apartments, chris&i crashed and burned from all the sugar high earlier. then we all made our way back to crown to rest a bit. uncle&aunty went recee-ing, carolyn reading and random teevee-ing, chris&i happily watched casino royale on his pretty G4 until i fell comfortably asleep on his lap (: hee hee.
then we had buffet dinner at 7-ish and witnessed chris swallow a marshmallow with tartar sauce for two dollars. HAHA. after that, chris&i left his family and went off for some quiet along yarra river. it felt really good. 'cause we've not reall been spending much time alone, and much less talking about ourselves etc.
soon, it was time to send me home while he headed off to attend ash's house-warming party. sighhhhhhh. i miss that lazy witty boy who roars like a hippo, very very extremely much (:
