'cause apparently people (especially ivan), have been telling me that i look much happier the moment i handed up my last essay. ha ha. but i guess i'm more relieved than happy about having two whole weeks worth of break from 8am lectures, very boring practicals, and one lecturer whose accent is too much for me to handle.
yes, i don't deny i'm much happier than i was a week before. (imagine EXTREMELY grumpy, moody, piss-y etc. celine. not too difficult eh >.< ). but i guess, i would've been much much much happier if you know ... i was with chris.
oh well. army sucks.
freaking ban it already.
on a lighter note, tulip farm yesterday was pretty awesome, even though evangie didn't manage to go in the end. she woke up feverish and whatnot, then jax happened to be extremely bored, free and be a driver, he took her place. heh. so yes, i was stuck with jax the entire day. 10 hours worth of talking just to keep him awake is no joke okay. especially when it's jax. HAHA.
moving on. so jax came over to collect evangie's car and off we went to church to pick up some of vivien's cell group pple. and ohmygoodness, the ride there was hell weird. heh. but anyway, after a two hour drive, we finally reached Mt Dandenong. the tulips were so beautiful :) and they came in so many happy colours :D hee hee. and the best part is, we had poffertjes! WOOTS :)
by the way, the lady selling pofferjes, told us that tulips apparently came from Turkey. haha. and it was a royal flower of some sort. peasants weren't allowed to grow/possess them. then the dutch, bought the tulip business over and vwah la, you have tulips of all kinds, colours and they're found everywhere :)
then after roaming around rows after rows of tulips, we made our way to the Mt Dandenong lookout to catch the sunset. heh. this sunset totally beat the one i caught for my psych essay last semester. haha. and you can roughly make out an outline of the city from the lookout. absolutely breath taking :)
after ooo-ing and aahhh-ing over sunsets and lil' children in The Giant Chair, it was time for the infamous pork shank at Mt Dandenong Hotel. i didn't get the pork shank though, but it really looked awesome. i had the scotch fillet steak :) for 26 bucks, totally worth it. heh.
dinner was followed by a round (countless rounds actually) of 'zi gu pah' with pastor chris. haha. he totally owned me la :( so when i finally won after idontknowhowmany matches, i told him "let's leave it at that okay? haha. i don't want to embarrass myself any further." and he just laughed at me :(
then it was finally back to the city to grab some chicken corn soup for the very ill evangie, and HOME :)
today was 'free milo and drop a prayer day' in church. well, at least for evangie's cell group and i. we were giving out free milo just outside church as part of our 40days of community 'community project'. so there we were braving the relentless winds and attempting to get people to drink our milo.
unfortunately, despite the milo being free, the response wasn't as good as we predicted. heh. well well, i bet the response would've been much more different if we were in sg. HAHA.
anyway, after standing there for close to 3 hours (i think), i think i caught a cold :(
mehhhhh.
come back soon dood :(
i don't like:
- taking pictures by myself
- walking along the city streets without you holding my hand
- not having dinner with you before act1v8 and arriving late together
- having/sharing xlbs with other people (no offence)
- eating a million and one packets of indomie without you
it's gonna be almost another 3months till i see your face :(
fly time flyyyyyy.
'i miss you' doesn't even come close to expressing how much you really are missed.
